Dude Perfect got 61 in a minute, another serial Guinness World Record breaker got 83, I got 133. That’s the difference between proper preparation and practice, just winging it, and giving it a good try.
The record was for the most thumbtacks stuck into a corkboard in one minute. You could use 2 hands but only move one tack per hand at a time. Some records are made easier than others and I could tell the original breaker of this record (Cory Cotton of Dude Perfect) hadn’t practiced very much when he made his attempt. It was broken by another (Andre Ortolf out of Germany) without breaking a sweat without a ton of practice. Just a little preparation and practice and I was able to stick this record.
At the end of the minutes the tacks had to remain stuck in the board for over 10 seconds and I blew one off that wasn’t properly stuck. I was then counting them and almost halfway through I found one laying down. I had to review the video evidence to see that it fell over without me touching it a good minute after the original minute had expired and it counted.
